Logistics Management and Coordination Unit

MNCH2 supported the establishment of a central coordination mechanism for supply chain at the state and LGA level in the form of Logistics Management and Coordination Unit (LMCU). This unit is part of the National Supply Chain Integration programme and is a unit that shoulders the responsibility of coordinating a parallel supply chain system and monitors health commodity stock status at different levels of the supply chain in the state. It will help reduce wastage through expiries by conducting redistribution of such commodities.
